John Whitty, MS, has over 24 years experience working in the mental health field. He was guided by the firm belief that his calling was to provide support and assistance to others .
John has an innate ability to identify and amplify the positives in clients' lives even when there are seemingly none.
He has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, mostly around trauma. He currently works with single and dual diagnosis clients with a focus on substance abuse, mental health and recovery.
When he was six weeks old, John was adopted and that life event led him to reflect deeply on his attachments. He believes that attachment is at the heart of addiction. John believes we all deserve a good life and in order to achieve this, we must be willing to walk through fear, remain open, and search inside ourselves, Having a solid support system is crucial to this work.
