Community Service in Nepal

Nepal is a situated between India and Tibet. Home to the Himalayas and Mount Everest, this country is known throughout the world as a spiritual, ancestral land that attracts many travelers who return time and again. JOR chose Nepal as its preferred destination because of the country’s natural beauty, people, and rich culture, which all provide the perfect environment for us to connect with ourselves, others and nature in profound ways.

We partner with Clinic Nepal for our community service activities because of its reputation and invaluable service to the Nepalese people.

Clinic Nepal

In 1997, Hari Bhandary founded Clinic Nepal because he saw his people were suffering due to the lack of healthcare services. Today, Clinic Nepal supports over 50,000 people in Megauli, Chitwan District through different projects designed to provide the community with basic health care, education, and sustainable livelihoods.

Hari recently received an award from the President of Nepal for his community work and was named one of Rotary International's 2016 THE ONE Humanitarian Award recipients.
